Fall has arrived; it has been getting pretty chilly lately so you're wardrobe has switched to jeans and long sleeved shirts. You are a hotw blooded little boy so you fought us the firt time you had to wear jeans or put a jacket on...you tried to rip them off!  You still hate blankets at bedtime but then you cry and say "Cold!" And crawl up to cuddle with mama... But you won't let me cover you up!  Last night we tried you in Jammie's - longe sleeved pants and shirt - surprising,y, you slept great. We wer afraid you would hate them but you didn't. Tonight is night two...hopefully you do just as good because this mama is tired!!!

You have started "flexing your muscles."  You squeeze your arms so hard your little face turns bright red- it's pretty stinking cute. You love when we tell you how strong you are... That just makes you want to flex them even more.

We bought your Halloween costume... Of course you are Mickey Mouse. When I showed it to you in the store, you screamed "Hotdog!!!" As high and as Loud as your little voice would go. You call him hotdog because of the "hotdog song" he sings at the end of every episode. We had to put your costume on you three different times that night, you absolutely love it. I'm excited for everyone to see you in it.  We went to a big pumpkin patch in kc a few weeks back and you picked out a baby pumpkin and did all sorts of cool stuff. There was a really high hay bail stack that you climbed to the top of and then went down the slide all by yourself.  It was the first time mama really let you do something on your own like that...normally I would be following right behind you like he crazy mother hen, but that just showed me that mamas baby is growing into such a big boy. We also bottle fed a baby goat, went on a hay rack ride, you and daddy rode a mini train, and you chased geese. You were the only little kid not scared!!!!  So brave! :)

We have been trying to prepare for the holidays ; I am going to give you the best Christmas ever despite mamas heart being broken from the loss of ma.  They definitely won't be the same this year but I am so thankful that I have you to get me through them.  Seeing your eyes light up with th Christmas lights, seeing Santa, presents ... All of tht will make the days better.
